Waycross Receives a Hometown Award

Waycross Community Media was the recipient of a national Hometown Media Award for our production of "OHSAA Regional Semi-Final Basketball: Lasalle vs Winton Woods" at a ceremony on August 1 in Chicago.

Congratulations to our volunteer crew, which included Jason Dudley (Director), Gwendolyn Green, Tom Bruckmann, Hugh Staples, Alex Bergquist, Cary Fallath, Greg Evans, James Willis, Dave Cropper, Mike Robinson, and Mitchell Mayes.

The Hometown Media Awards are sponsored by the Alliance for Community Media, a national, non-profit membership organization committed to ensuring access to electronic media for all people. The Alliance for Community Media carries forth its mission by educating, advocating and acting as a resource for the more than 3,000 Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) cable channels nationwide.
