This Week at Waycross - 2/28

The Call for Entries for the Hometown Media Awards is now open!

Enter Online

The Alliance for Community Media (ACM) is issuing its call for entries for the Hometown Media Awards. Previously named the Hometown Video Awards, the name change to Hometown Media Awards reflects the wider array of media being used by Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels.

The Hometown Media Awards honor and promote community media and local cable programs that are distributed on PEG access cable television channels. Awards are presented to creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats, and move viewers to experience television in a different way.

Please click here to submit an entry using ACM's online submission system or click here for additional contest rules and information. The entry fee per submission is $50 for ACM members and $75 non-members.

The Online Submission Deadline is April 30, 2014!
